Trade Schools
Is it a quirky oddity that people who oppose Unions, support the Industrial Trade Schools, Student Loan Racket?
Daytime TV is full of adds to learn how to be a Tradesman. Just take out a Student loan and promise to take a Low wage job. And you got yourself a lifetime of DEBT
That is much better for the demise of America than those Union Trade Schools that are free to members.
Unions are being targeted to be the next set of whipping boys to explain the problem government has of reining in its spending and cutting back on services.
Every day now you see complaints about public unions, like teachers, and nurses, and sanitation workers, firemen and police, all those lowly blue collar jobs the college educated disdain.
The thinking is amazing, they fight to save the top five percent their estate taxes, and that three percent they should be paying, blame the union worker for his benefits ‘breaking’ the industry, but never once mention the eight thousand dollars an hour some executive gets paid, as a reason the company might be losing money. And that’s not including nice perks like country club dues and cars, and golden parachutes.
But instead it’s the union member with his twenty thousand a year pension, and he has to put in twenty five to thirty years to qualify, some of those execs get those perks based on three or four years, before they put in another one with even bigger benefits, and, as Nardelli showed, you don’t even have to do a good job to get the big bucks.
So don’t be surprised that the Republicans support their idea of private industry with Trade Schools who use Student loans to rake in the bucks, when a Union apprenticeship program or school would work better and more efficiently, especially in the building trades, they don’t make any money off those.
